Brief Biography: Andrew (Drew) Stevens career began in 2010 while working for his family business, OPEX Corporation, in Moorestown, NJ. Drew specialized in business development for supply chain and logistics operations both domestic and internationally. Drew worked with financial institutions, insurance companies, 3rd party logistics, retail logistics and wholesale logistics. Drew graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in College Station with a degree in University Studies—Leadership. After his own battle with depression, anxiety, and addiction, Drew set out to establish a treatment facility in College Station that provided excellent medical, clinical, spiritual, and operational care.

“Most treatment centers are designed to accomplish a monumental task in a short amount of time, but they are not designed to help clients re-awaken a positive vision of a new future for themselves, and then help them take the first step to get there.” Drew developed the concept of More Than Rehab out of the belief that providers have to go the extra mile for their clients to help them successfully integrate back into a healthy lifestyle and to improve treatment outcomes.

Ken White, COO

Brief Biography: Ken has worked in start-ups and turnarounds his entire professional life. Whether in the for profit, or non-profit sector, he has a long track record of building processes and systems that bring stability and long term success to the organizations he serves.

Rob Cairncross, Executive Director of Tyler Location

Credentials: Marine Engineering Diploma – Royal Navy; Certificate of Management – Open University.
Job Experience: Petty Officer – Royal Navy; MRP Controller  – Rolls-Royce Aerospace, Vice President of International Operations – Mercy Ships
Brief Biography: Rob was born and raised in North Yorkshire, England. After spending 8 years as an engineer in the Royal Navy he ventured  into the not for profit world with Mercy Ships, serving on their hospital ship in West Africa. He returned to the UK in 1996 to work with Rolls-Royce Aerospace, developing a passion for continuous improvement and workflow management, before going back to Mercy Ships in 2003. After working in various management positions on their hospital ships and ashore for almost 17 years, he left his role of Vice President of International Operations in 2020, joining More Than Rehab later that year.

He remains passionate about improving effectiveness in the workplace with the aim of positively impacting the lives of staff and clients alike.

Taylor Johnson, Director of Admissions

Job Experience: Pastor, Operations Director, Admissions Director
Brief Biography:Taylor spent 7 years pastoring and living in high needs communities. He worked with families and individuals to develop programs that met the educational, material, and spiritual needs of the local area. After establishing children’s mentorship programs and adult job skills programs, he turned his attention to the epidemic plaguing local families: unaddressed mental health and substance abuse issues. He served as operations director for men’s and women’s faith based recovery programs for 3 years before transitioning into full time clinical treatment with More Than Rehab in 2018.

Taylor has lived among the devastation substance abuse causes–to families, children, friends, and two of his own brothers. He has a passion for walking hurting people and their loved ones into the recovery process. He considers it a privilege to serve those taking the bold step to do the hardest thing a person can do: change. 
 
 
Dr. David Dranetz, Psychiatric Director

Job Experience: David M. Dranetz, M.D.
Brief Biography: David Dranetz was born and raised in Massachusetts, obtaining his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, where he received his medical degree in 1988. He trained in Psychiatry, then served as a Psychiatrist, in the United States Army until 1995. He has over 30 years of experience in Psychiatry, in the areas of adult outpatient psychotherapy and medication management, hospital consultation, inpatient psychiatric care, and substance abuse treatment. He has trained medical students in Psychiatry, having held the title of Assistant Professor at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He has lived in the College Station area for over 10 years.

Dr. Michael Jones, Medical Director

Brief Biography: Born and raised in Texas. Dr. Jones graduated Cum Laude at Texas A&M University in 1980. He attended Medical School at UT San Antonio and graduated in 1985. He then completed his Family Practice Residency by Texas Tech in Odessa in 1988. He is a Board-Certified Family Physician with repeated recertifications since then. Dr. Jones has acquired a vast amount of experience working in emergency medicine for 28 years. Has been with MTR since its inception and personally wrote the protocols that we follow each day. "I look forward to serving you and helping smooth your journey to freedom."

Steve Trevino, CMO

Job Experience: Recovery coach for over twenty years.
Brief Biography: Steve Trevino is married to Julie, his high school sweetheart and they have two daughters. He is the founder and executive director of CrossCentral Church and Recovery Center. With experience in both non-profit and for-profit treatment, he has helped thousands find freedom from addiction through residential programs, recovery workshops and consulting around the world.

Karin Swenson, Director of Business Development and Alumni Services

Credentials: BBA in Marketing, University of Texas —San Antonio, LCDC-I
Job Experience: Technician, Discharge Planner, Counselor, Family Programming, Case Management, and 8 years in Business Development.
Brief Biography: Karin is a South Central Texas native that found her passion for helping families & their loved ones navigate treatment options across the US as a result of her own struggles and recovery path. Even before coming to work with More Than Rehab, she witnessed people she cared about have their lives change for the better from the treatment at More Than Rehab.

Karin graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas – San Antonio in 2007.She continued her education in 2012 & got her LCDC-I from ICDS & also worked at other National and Texas based rehabs for the past 10 years.

Paige Fritz, In House UR and Billing Director

Credentials: Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services
Job Experience: Paige has been in the treatment industry for about 7 years. She started her career working for a facility in their detox program but soon after was moved to the insurance department.
Brief Biography: Paige grew up near San Francisco and moved to Southern California where she attended California State University, Fullerton. While in college, she found a passion for people who struggle with addiction. Paige is dedicated and passionate about maximizing benefits for each client that enters treatment.

Greyson White, Director of Operations

Brief Biography: Originally from Houston, Texas where he found his passion for helping people through doing volunteer work with basketball and football teams. Nothing brings a bigger smile to his face than helping someone in need.

Rachel Postma, Music Therapy Teacher

Credentials: Board-Certified Music Therapist(MT-BC), Berklee College of Music – Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy; Minor in Psychology; Vocal studies emphasis.
Job Experience: Rachel has been working as a music therapist at More Than Rehab since 2017, facilitating expressive therapy groups.
Brief Biography: Rachel is passionate about the work she does here at MTR, providing a safe space for clients to creatively express themselves, process through their recovery, set personal goals, and find relief from stress. While at Berklee, Rachel completed 1,200 clinical hours in a variety of settings, including working with older adults with dementia, working with children with special needs, as well as a rotation at Boston Children’s Hospital. She completed her clinical internship at Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, a state psychiatric facility in Massachusetts. Rachel currently works as a contract music therapist with multiple healthcare companies like More Than Rehab, providing Telehealth services through Scoggins Therapies and Southwestern Music Therapy for individual clients with developmental disabilities.

 
 
Kimberly Land, Addiction Yoga Instructor

Job Experience: Practicing yoga since 2002/ Teaching yoga since 2009.
Brief Biography: Through yoga, Kim is dedicated helping people reconnect to their true authentic self while peeling away the layers of trauma, shame, hurt, guilt, confusion to discover the root of addiction. Her goal is to equip others with tools (pranayama, asana, and meditation) to take home which will empower recovery & keep balance in life so clients can live to the fullest.

Heather Burns, Counselor and Psychological Associate

Credentials: MS Clinical Psychology 2014, Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC), Licensed Psychological Associate(LPA)
Brief Biography:She completed her undergraduate study in Economics at University of NorthTexas in 1999. In 2010, she returned to school where she earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Texas at Tyler in 2014. Heather worked as a statistician and research analyst for fifteen years before making the decision to return to graduate school to study psychology. She believes it is never too late to follow your dreams, and her desire to create meaningful change led her to change careers. Since 2014, Heather has worked as a therapist and assessment specialist in forensic, private, and hospital settings. Heather worked from 2014 to 2018 for Dallas County Community Supervision and Corrections, where she specialized in neuropsychological testing, clinical evaluation, and therapeutic intervention for clients facing severe obstacles. More recently, Heather worked as an inpatient therapist at Glen Oaks Hospital.

Heather strives to help clients create meaningful change in their own lives, and
endeavors to instill hope that, indeed, it is never too late to achieve your goals or
overcome your obstacles. In all settings, her clients can expect from Heather a
compassionate and non-judgmental relationship.
 
 
Gloria Segovia, Case Manager

Credentials: Master’s of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Attended and graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville ( TAMUK ), LCDC-I, CCJP is Criminal Justice Professional
Job Experience: Gloria has nine years experience in substance abuse treatment counseling in a TDCJ unit, a residential Rehab facility in Bryan, TX. and a detox residential facility in Corpus Christi, TX.
Brief Biography: Gloria is originally from South Texas she grew up in Kingsville, TX. Gloria is passionate about assisting and motivating clients to realize change is possible from addiction. She is compassionate and understanding in helping clients in recovery stay clean and sober.

Gloria is also a volunteer with UP BRAZOS VALLEY which is an organization that helps young adults from foster care get established in society and be independent for the first time in their lives.

 
 
Cherelle Foley, Clinical Administrator

Brief Biography: Ms. Cherelle Foley holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology LA location. Ms. Foley currently holds the title of Clinical Administrator at More Than Rehab Corp. and exhibits all of the qualities of a true mental health professional dedicated to her craft. Cherelle has a background in Nursing having interned during high school, Psychology, and experience working with those who have suffered from intellectual and learning disabilities along with physical disabilities as well. Cherelle is certified in Gottman’s Couple Therapy I and is excited to continue gaining her licensures in the field of Psychotherapy in the future. She does have a very bubbly personality and puts a smile on everyone’s face while getting the job done and doing anything to help others succeed! Her passions are working with those who come from low economic backgrounds and the substance abuse family of clients we encounter every day at MTR. Ms. Foley has also had a hand in the entertainment industry working for a magazine for years and assisting in advertising, promotion, and trademarking along with creating her own business. These days Cherelle enjoys spending time with her toddler son and traveling having lived in Houston, California, and now back to her hometown of Bryan/College Station.

 
 
Renisha Carr, Office Manager

Brief Biography: Renisha Carr is a native of the Bryan/College Station area, and recent graduate from Prairie View A&M University receiving a Bachelors of Science degree. As an experienced administrator, office manager, and legal assistant, she is driven by hard work and education. She takes pride in providing exemplary skill and service to the team at our Bryan, Texas location. In addition to her primary job functions, Renisha strives to help the company expand as a family and a great resource for the local community.

Brief Biography: I aspire to bring company messaging to further reach in the DFW and East Texas area. I am very solution based and am always looking to find a way to provide the resource that is needed to our clients and partners. I have been in the addiction/recovery field for four years now. I come from a legal background but found that this field is where home is at. During my time in this field I have worked in both direct and indirect care as well as both inpatient and outpatient levels of care. I have also worked within the transitional living environment. I recently developed and introduced a withdrawal program for pregnant persons with the insurmountable help from a trio of physicians in several areas in the state of Texas. Eternally a student, I love learning and growing both professional and interpersonally.

 
 
Sheron Burton, Case Manager

Brief Biography: Sheron Burton is married, and a licensed minister. She is a case manager at MTR. She is an administrator/instructor and teaches the Drug Offender Education Program classes for the court. She graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a master’s degree in counseling, and is eligible to take the LPC exam. She is currently an LCDC-I, and she will graduate with a doctorate from Capella University, the school of Counseling and Human Services, specializing in Leadership and Management in the Fall of 2022. Sheron is also a published author.

Brief Biography: Ms. Estrada currently serves as the Alumni Coordinator. The favorite thing about her job is showing that their is hope after addicition. Prior to serving as the Alumni Coordinator, Ms. Estrada began working at More Than Rehab as an Operation Technician. She is grateful for this experience because each day she is allowed to live out her purpose. Before Ms. Estrada came to More than Rehab. She served as a Women’s Recovery House Manager for CrossCentral’s addiction treatment ministry. Her passion is leading people through the process of healing and recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Ms. Estrada brings wisdom and empathy to her position because she has been there. “Because I have been through what many of these clients have been through, I can relate.” She wants to bridge the gap between families and help them through the process of healing. A long-time resident of the Bryan College Station community, Ms. Estrada uses her multitude of contacts to serve her clients holistically. Being bilingual, Ms. Estrada can reach our clients more comfortable speaking Spanish. In addition to her rehab work, Ms. Estrada has been an active volunteer in our community, including serving on the Board of OnRamp (a local vehicle ministry) providing strategic input and serving the clients of OnRamp with emotional support, follow up, and connections to needed services. Her mission is to love, and love well.
